    LV81 Removals ("we", "us", "our") is a Birmingham-based rubbish removal, house clearance and man & van company. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

    1. Who we are

    2. Information we collect

    • Name, phone number, email and collection address you submit through our booking form, WhatsApp or by phone.
    • Details of the items you want removed and any photos you send us.
    • Payment details (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers).
    • Basic device / analytics data (page views, referrer, approximate location) via first-party analytics.

    3. How we use it

    • To quote for and carry out the removal, clearance or move you have asked us to do.
    • To issue receipts, waste transfer notes and, where relevant, tax records.
    • To reply to enquiries and provide customer support.
    • To improve our website and services (aggregated, non-identifying analytics only).

    4. Legal basis

    We rely on performance of a contract (to deliver the service you booked), legitimate interests(running and improving our business, keeping records) and, where required, your consent (e.g. optional marketing).

    5. Sharing

    We share data only with providers we need to run the service: hosting, analytics, our payment provider and the licensed recycling / waste transfer facilities we take your waste to (as required by our Environment Agency waste carrier duties). We do not sell your data.

    6. Retention

    Booking and waste transfer records are kept for a minimum of two years to satisfy our legal duties as a registered waste carrier; financial records for six years for HMRC. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe.

    7. Your rights

    You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email info@lv81removals.com to exercise any of these rights.

    8. Cookies

    We use a small number of first-party cookies for essential site functionality and anonymous analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are set without your consent.
