• Damaged white goods, or anything without a plug.

How do I book a charity furniture collection?

1. Photograph the item in daylight — a wide shot plus a close-up of the fire label.
2. Measure the widest dimension so the crew know what van to send.
3. Book online through the charity's website, choosing a Birmingham postcode.
4. Confirm access — ground floor, lift, stairs, driveway, parking.
5. Have the item ready and accessible on the day; some charities won't lift from an upper floor.
